Axel first joined the project as a Post Doctoral Fellow in June 2018 after completing his PhD in Economics at the University of Cambridge and is now an Annual Fellow. His research interests focus on macroeconomics, labour economics and economic theory.
Axel is co-author of MacCaLM Investigator, Mike Elsby, and presented their new work ‘Firm Dynamics, On-The-Job Search and Labour Market Fluctuations’ at the National Bureau of Economic Research’s Macro Perspectives Conference in July 2019.
